Gaiara items are shipped internationally* in plastic-free packaging. I aim to use standard shipping where possible, as express shipping is more of a burden to the environment. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout and vary country by country (please refer to below). Gaiara offers free shipping on all orders to The Netherlands.

For international orders, please note that all custom duties and/or import taxes that may apply are the responsibility of the international customer.

The most important thing to us is that you love your Gaiara item and you may return your order within 14 days from the date you received your order if the item is unworn and in original condition, including all tags.* Please contact customerservice@gaiarathelabel.com to start the return procedure. Gaiara offers a refund or store credit in exchange for the returned order. Please note that the customer is responsible for all shipping costs related to the return. 

As a small business selling handmade and one of a kind items, all customers are kindly asked to avoid returns as much as possible by checking the sizing guide before making a purchase. Please contact us before you place your order if you have any questions about the item. We would love to answer all of your questions and there is no bigger satisfaction to me than you being happy with your purchase!

Properly caring for your handmade clothing is extremely important to make sure you can enjoy your item for a very long time.

• It is recommended to wash your items as little as possible, only when really necessary. Basically, this applies to all clothing and fabrics (and it is more friendly to the environment), but for handmade textiles it is perhaps even more important.
• If you wash your item, use cold water with a very mild detergent. It is recommended to wash items by hand but for machine washing, wash it separately on a gentle cycle (with cold water). 
• Always air dry your clothes in a shaded area, avoiding direct sunlight.
• Iron your items on low heat, preferably covering your iron with a thin cloth. Spray water to dampen the fabric if completely dry, or use a steam iron.
• Store your clothes in a cool and dry environment. Keep your clothes away from moths.
